Marais district, Paris.

Due to the relocation of artisans and Jews in the 19th century, many handicraft workshops gathered in the Marais district after the war. The intersection of historical origins and various cultures formed the unique charm of the Marais district.

As a suit tailor shop, Christian Angelo originated in Marais district. In this French handicraft industry area, the suit shop has absorbed the avant-garde style of the Marais district, blended the artistic and humanistic atmosphere of La rive gauche with the wildness of la rive droite. Christian Angel was favored by many literary and artistic people in Paris at the beginning of the 21st century.

Many art galleries and creative shops was opened as artists and designers moved into Marais. In 2010, Christian Angel missed the opportunity to transform which has led to an outflow of customers, coupled with external factors such as rising rents, business of the shop plummeted and entered a period of tight operation.

In 2021, Chinese entrepreneur Williams Wu took over the store and carried out brand management. With an international perspective, Christian Angelo not only retained the original design and technical team, but also improved the brand operation and management mechanism.
